Early Childhood (801)

As of February 1, 2015, candidates applying for an Integrated Early Childhood/Special Education N–K, Elementary Education Grades 1–3 Endorsement (endorsement #113) will be required to take and pass the CTCE Early Childhood (801) test. Current testing requirements are outlined on the Connecticut State Department of Education website at www.sde.ct.gov/sde/ .

Format	Computer-based test (CBT) 100 multiple-choice questions and 2 open-response assignments
Time	4 hours and 15 minutes total appointment time 15 minutes for CBT tutorial and nondisclosure agreement 4 hours testing time
